I inherited her house. At the time, I was heavy in my addiction. My mother worked hard to buy her house. And I had the presence of mind to do right by her. And not lose it because of my lifestyle.
So at the time, my then 4 year old daughter was placed in a temporary guardianship with my first cousin and his wife.

I decided at the end of the probate to give my mother's house to my 4 year old daughter. It was my intention that she would have the house when she turned 18. My cousin and his wife understood that.
I was grateful at the time for my cousin and his wife stepping in to care for my daughter when I wasn't capable of doing so. At the time I received social security disability for manic depression in the amount of $1,300 per month and $246 per month for any dependents. This $246 of course went directly to my cousin and his wife as they were her temporary guardians. So there was some support for every single month that she was with them until she turned 18. And this would have continued if she were to have enrolled in college.
.In A Quiet State:Angels come, Stars In The Darkness.Faces In The Mirror. But she didn't. She has been working two jobs since she graduated from high school.
She has been struggling to pay for her apartment, her car payment, keep her credit rating good and just life.
I was absent in her life from age 4 until she graduated from high school. And during my absence. And just a year or two into the guardianship...my cousin and his wife Sold her house.
The house was free and clear and worth about 100,000 at the time.
Their reasons for selling the property was that they said there was a financial hardship and they already had two daughters of their own and with my daughter they could not afford to care for her unless they sold the house.
Their approximate net profit on the property was just over $100k. They didn't put the Money in an account for her. They bought a home in a very exclusive community, bought and paid for their vehicles. And I'm not saying they did nothing for her during that period of time when she was with them.
Do I have any legal recourse to help get my daughters house back or at least the equivalent of what it was sold for?
Please tell me that they can't just get away with doing that?
When she turned 18 they told her she would have to get her own place to live. "Kicked her out"
I don't think this is right. They both made plenty of money. And received support for her.
